What people are saying:

Vaz Street is located on the east side of Budapest’s city center. It is quite different from pedestrian streets in other cities. Vaz Street is neither very long nor very wide. The only similarity is that it is full of shops on both sides and there are many tourists. Opposite the terminus of the south exit of Vaz Street is the Budapest Central Market.

    The lovely Vaci street.

This lovely street never ceases to be fun for a 30-minute stroll and some shopping. Depending on the season, the street can be either packed or nearly empty. Either way - it's a lot of fun.

    Hardly any people

I went on a stroll on a sunny Wednesday morning in Vaci utca. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes and only a few people around... :-(

    Pleasant to stroll along

This is a pedestrianised street with lots of restaurants, cafes and shops. Definitely worth wandering down at least once for souvenirs. We went when it was really warm and had ice cream listening to ...

    Your typical tourist street

A pedestrian street in the middle of town with lots of souvenirs shops and sights. Same all over the world, a pleasure to walk along day or night.

a cool part of town though pretty busy

This pedestrian street has tons of shops, restaurants, and bars. The road is nice, and near the river, and there are many options to find something to eat or buy. There aren't many inexpensive options...
