About Buenos Aires Metropolitan Cathedral

Buenos Aires Metropolitan Cathedral was built in the early 16th century and it looked rather rudimentary at that time, so it was later rebuilt repeatedly. The current building is a mixture of several architectural styles, with 18th century central walkways and domes, and 19th century neoclassical facades without a bell tower. The interior retains precious sculptures and altar pieces from the 18th century, as well as beautiful new Renaissance and neo-Baroque decorations.

Capital Cathedral of Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is from here that Francisco, the Archbishop of the Vatican, goes to the world. St. Martin, the father of independence, was buried in the church with guards on guard. Like other South American countries, the vast majority of Argentines believe in Catholicism, and there are many churches in the city.

The Capital Cathedral, also known as the Metropolitan Cathedral, is one of the most worthwhile places to visit in Buenos Aires, which has a history of more than 200 years. The architectural form of the church is somewhat Roman. The Mausoleum of Saint Martin, a famous Latin American hero, is the most worth seeing in the church.

The Cathedral of Buenos Aires is the center of the Catholic Church of Buenos Aires, located on the north side of May Square. It is the oldest church in Buenos Aires, where Argentina's national hero and South American liberator Jose De Martin's mausoleum is buried. The current Pope Van Digan is from Argentina. The cathedral is a typical Roman style, with 12 tall Roman pillars and a triangular wall engraved with biblical stories. The whole church building is simple and magnificent. Under the front porch of the church is a monument to General Saint Martin. In 1950, the torch was lit to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Saint Martin's death. It symbolizes the fire of Argentina's free standing, known as the Argentine Flame. The golden and brilliant dome of the church and the tall and magnificent pillars give people a solemn and solemn feeling.

Recently, we came here with a private tour guide. We didn't expect much, but we were amazed. This is an amazing cathedral, which the current Pope led before he was elected. If you're in Buenos Aires, you have to go and see it.

The nearly 300-year-old church next to the May Square was initially very humble, and has been renovated several times to form the present pattern. So here are the central walkways and domes of the 18th century, and the neoclassical facades of the 19th century. The interior retains precious 18th century sculptures and altar decorations, as well as rich New Renaissance and New Baroque decorations.

It's also a beautiful cathedral. Catholicism is still very popular in South America. In the northwest corner of the square, across the road, this is an ancient and magnificent church, which basically demonstrates the brilliance of the Great Colonial Period.
