unfortunetly I joined Calgary Stampede only for one day but I enjoyed a lot. I went for 1:30 show including bull and horse riding. The show is amazing. After that just walked around where is plenty different perfomances... some of them for free. You will never regret that!
This Calgary cowboy Festival is a great event to experience at least once in your life. This cowboy Festival is very big, and there are many scenic spots worth seeing. We had a great time there. Night shows are incomparable, as are cooking car competitions and competitive performances. I suggest taking the city train to those scenic spots and then taking a tour around the city of Calgary - I think it's worth seeing, and it's simple and cheap. The local people are very hospitable and friendly. If I had the chance, I would go there again.
