    Worth A Visit

Well worth a visit if only for the views over the city. And of course there is the historical aspect to it all.

Additional Information

Introduction

On top of Cape Town's Devil's Peak sits a tribute to Cecil John Rhodes. He was the founder of De Beers diamonds and the state of Rhodesia, and a champion of British imperialism. Going about exploring the monument, taking in the views, and the option of hiking the trails up to the top can take you an hour or more. Please make sure to save time for high tea or lunch at the Rhodes Memorial Restaurant and Tea Garden.
