The architecture of this museum is incredible, unfortunately (in my opinion) the exhibits often lack. There cones a point in “modern“ art where I think we have to ask the question “why“, why do we consider that art? I absolutely adored the William Kentridge exhibit that happened here a couple of years ago but sadly I haven’t truly enjoyed an exhibit since. If you decide to visit the Zeitz, I recommend you look online to see what exhibits are currently on, you might decide to give it a miss.

A modern art museum, with a small audience, three floors with African painting exhibitions, paintings from various African countries. I didn't understand the others.
Cape Town has an art temple transformed from an abandoned granary: the Zeitz Museum of African Contemporary Art. The 42 concrete cylindrical silos, originally used to store grain, have been transformed into circulation spaces with galleries, exhibition rooms and atriums, while retaining the original industrial traces of the building, giving a new look. The museum houses many contemporary African artworks, making it the largest museum built on the African continent, and enjoys a sea view of the harbor and Cape Town’s most prestigious Table Mountain landscape.
The Chase Museum of Contemporary Art is the largest art museum on the African continent in nearly a hundred years. It is located in the central area of Cape Town, the tourist gathering place of Victoria Alfred Pier Square, next to Cape Town's largest Ferris wheel "Cape Town Eye". And one-stop shopping center Victoria Watergate. The museum is transformed from a historic barn, and the internationally renowned London design studio Heatherwick Studio will become the world's largest museum dedicated to contemporary art in Africa and its diaspora.
