Visited here for lunch recently before the Rod Stewart concert in Cardiff. The owner and chef was a delight the food prepared with love . we had a starter main courses wine fizzy water all for a reasonable price. The food was one of the best we've had in Cardiff and I would thoroughly recommend it to other people Steve&Ali
this place does not fail to impress. established for years. good food, good atmosphere, cannot fault it
Well, The Italian Way will always be one of the best family run dining experiences in Canton. Fab menu, with experienced and fun staff. Varied menu. :-)
About 25 male members of our choir go out every six months for a meal, drinks and usually ending with a few songs. The Italian Way had been visited previously by one of our members and he booked it for us. The restaurant were very helpful and offer a bring your own wine service (with a small corkage charge), even though they do sell their own. This was a great saving for us as we needed a quite a few bottles to lubricate the vocal chords! After an aperitif in the pub opposite we made our way over to the restaurant which has a lovely rustic Italian feel and has a great atmosphere. The food which we'd pre ordered was beautifully cooked and well received by all concerned and the service was fantastic. We were slightly worried that our post meal singing would upset the other customers but after our first number we were inundated with requests including s couple of Happy Birthdays for 2 groups of young women. We were, as usual, the last to leave and are already looking forward to our next visit.
Lovely family run independent restaurant. Been to lunch and dinner. The lunch menu is also very good value with 2 freshly cooked authentic Italian dishes under £9. It is very lively at night and I suggest you book in advance.
