The Honganji school school office in Ayukoji, which is close to Nishi Honganji Temple. It's made of concrete, but it's a little reminiscent of a temple hall. It's not a tourist attraction, so you can't go inside.
It is Oukoji-dori Hanayacho Kamiru. It is a concrete Western-style building built in 1918 and designed by Kiyoshi Masuda. It was built as an alumni hall of Kendo School. 3 Two archs are really retro. The pattern on the window is also fashionable. It is active as the office of Honganji Temple of the Jodo Shinshu sect.
It is located on the east side of Horikawa-dori, behind the Museum of Culture and Customs. It is a building with a unique design that mixes Japanese and Western styles. It seems that it was built quite a long time ago. I can't go inside. I only saw it from the outside. It seems to be active, and I wondered what kind of inside it would be.
It's a modern building completed in the Taisho Period.

The "Kendo Kaikan" of the Honganji School of the Jodo Shinshu sect was completed in 1923 (Taisho 12). About two blocks from the northeast end of Nishi Honganji Temple, it is a concrete building with a mixture of Japanese and Western design behind the Museum of Culture and Customs.
Nishi Honganji is a large wooden building, but this is a sturdy stone building. The day of the visit is closed and I don't know what it will be used for. However, there was a poster in the karate classroom, so I wondered if it would be used at the meeting place of the locals (or for believers?).

It's far from the image of a temple.
