The Jieshi Mountain is located in Changli County, Qinhuangdao, at an altitude of 695 meters. Cao Cao’s “being at the east of the Jieshi, to watch the Sea” spreads the fame of this mountain. For more than two thousand years, seven emperors, such as Qinhuang, Hanwu, and Tangzong, have climbed the mountain to watch the sea. There are still some ancient buildings preserved with a long history. The main peak of the Jieshi Mountain is the Xiantai Peak, with the famous Shuiyan Temple in the mountain. The predecessors listed the ten scenic spots of the Jieshi Mountain. In addition to the view of the sea from the Jieshi, there is also Sky Column Reaching Clouds, Shuiyan Spring, Shidong Autumn Wind, and so on. On the south side in the middle of the mountain, there is a Han Wengong Hall to commemorate Han Yu, a famous writer in the Tang Dynasty.
