Orange Island, lying in the Xiangjiang River in Changsha City, Hunan Province, stretches for ten miles and is named for its rich oranges. Running Xiangjiang River from south to north, the river bed is wide, upstream and downstream oasis, only Orange Island with its huge land across the broad river, so it is also known as "land and water island". Spring, bright light, sand gulls dot; summer, eagle long sky, 100 sails race; autumn solstice, grapefruit yellow orange red, fragrant; deep winter, ice shearing, river wind and snow, known as "Jiangtian Dusk Snow" become one of the "Eight Landscapes of Xiaoxiang". Take the sightseeing bus to the last stop. The sightseeing bus has explanations all the way. It's really good to sit in the Thomas train and watch the scenery and listen to the explanations. Go straight to Mao Zedong's youth art sculpture, which stands at the head of Orange Island in Changsha. As the largest landscape project of Orange Island scenic spot in Changsha, Mao Zedong's youth art sculpture is based on the image of Mao Zedong in 1925. The statue has a total height of 32 meters, a length of 83 meters and a width of 41 meters. It highlights Mao Zedong's ambition and elegant image. It happens to be raining heavily. No matter from any angle, we can see that young Mao Zedong is resolute, steady, vicissitudes of life, and his heart is tied to the world. It is really shocking. The young Mao Zedong demonstrated that he was the one who changed the destiny of old China by pointing out the great mind and courage of Jiangshan. Looking at the orange grove beside the statue, there were plenty of fruits and grapefruit trees, and walking around the statue was not a worthwhile trip. We came to the Orange Island Scenic Spot in Changsha where we had to punch.
Come out of Taiping Street and walk for a few minutes to Xiangjiang West Metro Station. Take one stop and you'll get to Orange Island Head. Buy a ticket and get on the bus. The ticket indicates that you can only go up and down five times. Everyone has to pinch it up and down. Just get on at the place where everyone gets off, so if you go far, you have to look back. Unless you are energetic, don't think about walking to Grandpa Mao's head. It's far away! The scenic spots are all in the middle of the lawn. The river is suitable for walking. There are no scenic spots. The big scenic spots are all on the way, the return journey is normal. There is also a sea temple. At the end of the return journey, you can choose to look at it first or back. I have no energy to look at it after a tour, so I gave up.
Orange Island, one of the most important scenic spots in Changsha, is Damei Orange Island Head. When I arrived at Orange Island, I couldn't walk [pout], so I bought a sightseeing ticket and got on a small train to start. If the Big Orange Island is free! Free Admission! Free Admission! I really envy the citizens of Changsha. How comfortable and comfortable they can often come to this casual courtyard for a stroll! I'll walk all the way again when I have time. [bared teeth]
A nice place woth flowers, the famous stone head of Chairman Mao, lots of areas to walk and even a former residence of a fanous KMT General. Its a lot bigger than you would expect walking wise, so bring some water and prepare to enjoy a slice of China’s fantastic history!
Orange Island is suitable for small couples or you like sports. We went out at 8 o'clock this morning. First, we went to Yuelu Mountain. At about 5 o'clock, we hit the ground and went to Orange Island two places close to each other. A few dollars later, we arrived. Very girlfriend walked around Orange Island to see the place where Mao Zedong once pointed out. It took us more than two hours to walk nearly 6 km. It was wonderful. I like the feeling of sweating when I travel. You don't need any tickets, just need your physical strength. There is free white water supply in the park. If you are tired, you can drink a bowl of mung bean paste or Changsha ice powder. For only five yuan, this life is perfect.
Nice to visit but you must go early if want to see all interesting stuff. Muzium will take you more than 3 hours.
At 10 o'clock in the evening, those who ran to Orange Island from the tail of the state to the head of the state took about 40 minutes to walk and run. In order to catch a glimpse of the beloved Chairman Mao, they also worked hard. Fortunately, when they came back, they caught up with a small train. They began to think that there was no train at this time. In fact, they could reach more than 10 o'clock during the eleventh hour and catch the latest train at eleven o'clock. It was really nice. Although it was very late, it ended Fortunately, I am so happy to catch up with you. The night scenery is also good. The garden is full of Osmanthus fragrance.
Orange Island didn’t disappoint. You’ll be amazed by the beautiful park areas right from the get go. If you’re keen on exploring the area on foot don’t hesitate. Be prepared to walk a lot during your day at Orange Island. Entrance to the park is free unless you want to make use of the transportation system within the park area. It’s a perfect location for a day trip as well as a lovely cultural and historical lesson behind the park. This famous attraction site draws thousands of people in for a visit. Make sure this is on your bucket list when visiting Changsha.
After all, it's a famous scenic spot in Changsha. It's a pity that I don't come to Changsha. I live with my little buddies for seven days and then go out to Furong Square, the subway station. We do line 2 to Orange Island Head, three stops apart. We walk to Chairman Mao's avatar with our buddies, and go back to make a tourist bus with 20 people. Overall, the scenery is good, and they are all good.
