Built in the Tang Dynasty, damaged by several fires, and rebuilt in the sixth year of the reign of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty, Huaguang Building is the landmark of the ancient city in Langzhong. The wooden structure of the Huaguang Building has steep stairs with room for only one person to pass at a time. The stairs squeak as you climb. The view from the top of the building is fantastic, extending to the ancient city. Looking afar, you can see tile houses in front of you and stone roads intertwined with each other.

Defu Lane was once part of the Imperial City during the Sui and Tang Dynasties, but is currently a famous bar street in Xi'an. Defu Lane used to be full of old warehouses, but gradually transformed into a nightlife hotspot during the 1990s. There is a magnificent three-gate archway at the entrance to Defu Lane, and many imitation antique buildings line the cobblestone road. Along the lane are many coffee houses, bars and tea parlors with very romantic names.

Once the sun sets, this is an exceptional place from which to enjoy the nightscape. On one side, the beauty of the city can be enjoyed, while the majesty of the river can be seen on the other. This is a great place for taking pictures.
