Yongqing Temple is situated in Yingbing Peninsula Resort in Chengmai County, Hainan Province. It was built as the first phase for "Hainan Yongqing Culture Tourist Attraction". Yongqing Temple is a Buddha temple in North Hainan. In history, Yongqing Temple was firstly built in the Tang Dynasty as one of the "Eight Scenic Spots in Chengmai". It was a sanctuary of Zen in Hainan history. According to historical material, Li Guang, Su Dongpo and other refined scholars were attracted to Yongqing Temple by its reputation as a scenic spot, making Yongqing Temple even more famous across Hainan.
