Some home-cooked simple meals in this store really won my heart. Although they are not very gorgeous dishes, they are better than the taste of home, especially the oily noodles. They really make it feel like a mother. Attracted a lot of diners to come to check in, really good!

On a 5 day food tour of Chicago, this was the best place we ate in. Great flavours, diverse menu, friendly staff, nice space outdoors. The owner came out and talked to us, explaining the opening of his first belly, his ethos on cooking and food service. When I'm back in town, this is the first place I'm eating. Traveller tip: the dumplings are outstanding

Love the chicken rice bowl and dumplings. Great place for lunch. Street parking on Randolph. Fast service, good food. Patio available when nice out.

A bit confusing..really two restaurants in one...One is for takeout and is casual, the other is more "formal" and is BBQ. We ordered the dumplings in the larger louder BBQ area. They were outstanding! Had a few types and all were gone in no time. Ordered a number of entres..ribs, salads, beef, pork, etc...lots of them. Came out very quickly..portions meant to share. Everything was excellent. Service very attentive. Noise level was high. Convenient valet parking. Would definitely return! With a drink and dessert, bill was about $95 a couple.
