Frederick Law Olmstead, the same mind that brought us Central Park in New York, designed this little corner of Chicago. Within it, you'll find the Lincoln Park Zoo, the Chicago History Museum, the Lincoln Park conservatory, and opportunities for activities ranging from rowing to running. Around the park are plenty of cafes and restaurants, along with hotels and shops.
Dry nice family friendly environment. It's FREE year round. A lot of new attractions.
Besides the Zoo Lincoln Park stretches for miles along the lake front. With world class beaches, wonderful open spaces and wooded bird sanctuaries. Great fun to check out the harbors in the summer and the natural ice sculptures that can occur in the winter. It is one of Chicago's greatest assets. Just a mil from the Ginkgo Leaf it should not be missed.
Lovely nature oasis in the Chicago metropolis. Host to the free zoo, conservatory as well as nature museum, and the most romantic restaurant in chicago, North Pond. A must explore.
Love this zoo. Been there many times and it never fails to fascinate with its great assortment of animals. Going again this weekend.
Across the Street from Hotel Lincoln is the Saturday and Wednesday Farmer's Markets from Spring to Fall. Enjoy!
