Inani Beach Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
A visit to Inani Beach.
Inani Beach is probably the best plan for adventurous travellers visiting Chittagong. It is also part of cox’s Bazar are. The recommended sightseeing time is between one to two hours.
Going to the beach and walking along the sea is definitely a good way to recharge batteries and getting all the sun we missed in winter. The sand is soft so you feel you are walking on Powder.
You can also take a trail to go uphill, The beach looks nice from the top as it can be seen in my pictures.so climb the hill for birds eye view.
After the visit, you can also enjoy some shopping or they have some vendor selling souvenirs. Make sure you are not wearing bikinis or any kind of small swimsuit (This applies for men and women).

This quiet beach is about 12 km south of Cox's Bazar Beach. It is a place where there are few outsiders bothered and charming.
By Cuxhazba, you can take a tricycle or motorcycle. Here, you can avoid the crowds of Kuksbaza Beach and enjoy the pure blue sea and blue sky alone. Or talk to the local villagers. In addition, it is more famous because of the rocks that other beaches dont have.
The Hidden Corners of Bangladesh | The Buddhist Afterglow of Cox’s Bazar
Cox’s Bazar is the pride of Bangladeshis as a tourist destination, I can confidently say that if you ask ten Bangladeshis where is fun in their country, nine will cue to Cox’s Bazar. The city is surrounded by hills on the north, east, and south, and the beach on the west, 110 kilometers long, is one of the longest beaches in the world. Of course, this beach is also divided into several parts, from St. Martin's Island back to Cox’s Bazar, passing Inani Beach, and went directly to this beach.
Many peculiar new moon-shaped fishing boats are parked in the shallow bay near the beach, which feels similar to small pirate ships in ancient times, and very different from the fishing boats on St. Martin's Island. Inani Beach is part of the 110-kilometer-long beach on the entire Cox’s Bazar peninsula, located roughly in the middle of Cox’s Bazar and Teknaf. Unlike the beaches in the city of Cox’s Bazar, it is much quieter here, but obviously there are more and more local tourists. The seawater here is far from comparable to that of St. Martin's Island, presenting a kind of polluted thick blue. Interestingly, Inani Beach is also a coral reef beach, especially after the tide recedes, there are endless coral reefs. Some locals are soaking in the sun in the pits formed by the coral reefs, doing the most suitable thing on the beach - daze.
After returning to Cox’s Bazar, to the hotel street by the sea, I finally felt the prosperity of Bangladesh's first tourist destination. At dusk, I walked to the old city of Cox’s Bazar to see the Buddhist temples of the Rakhaing people. It is about 3 kilometers from the hotel to the Rakhaing temple, from the bustling modern beach road to the original dirty and chaotic labyrinth-like old city, arriving just before the last light of the day goes down. Mahathindawgree Kendriyo Buddhist Mondir is a peculiar building, a four-sided tower-shaped building, which shrinks from the eaves of the first floor, after eight floors to the top of the tower, and the inside of the building is enshrined. It is a spire common in Burmese Buddhism that is very similar to the entire building. Further inside, the Rakhaing people with faces similar to mine are barefoot in the yard, and people are carefully preparing for the upcoming Buddhist festival. The deepest part of the yard is the main hall of Maha Thin Daw Gree, and next to it is a small hall with a hollow top, which also enshrines a Buddha statue. The main hall enshrines dozens of Buddha statues, from the largest gold-plated bronze statue to the jade Buddha to the clay Buddha statue, with different expressions.
In front of Maha Thin Daw Gree is a Burmese-style pure wooden structure temple Aggamedha Kyang, which is a bit close to the stilt building in Southeast Asia. The Buddha statue enshrined in the main hall on the second floor is very beautiful, especially the exquisite carving of the Buddha's halo. Coming out of Aggameda Khyang, looking back at the door, the faint light emitted by the incandescent bulbs hanging in the temple is the Buddhist afterglow in this Muslim country. Thinking of the busy Rakhaing faces in the yard, this small grove is another unknown Bangladesh.
Inani Beach, Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.
Inani Beach, part of Cox's Bazar Beach, is an 18-kilometre-long sea beach in Ukhia Upazila of Cox's Bazar District, Bangladesh. It has a lot of coral stones, which are very sharp. These coral stones look black and green, and they are found in summer or rainy seasons.
Most tourists choose this place for its silent nature and eccentric environment. Inani beach is famous for its crystal clear water for its own. Finally, don't forget to enjoy the sunset & try to stay until the sun goes down.#beaches #beach #Cox’sBazar #bangladesh #seafoodfeast #sea #beachlife

Great place
Cox’s Bazar Beach
Cox's Bazar Beach is probably the most famous and visited place in the city of Chittagong. It is the longest natural sea beach in the world running 120 kilometres.
This landmark is far from the nearest city, you must arrange a private driver to get there.
There are hotels, resorts, guest houses and restaurants around the beach which is convenient for dinner and refreshments. It is more comfortable to visit this place in the morning or late afternoon as the weather is quite hot.
Do not miss out the sunsets in this place. The yellow-reddish colours are fantastic, it is a show in the sky every night so find your favourite spot on the beach and do not forget a refreshing drink (alcohol is forbidden). Women must be dressed appropriately with no revealing clothes and shoulder should be covered.

Off-season Wintering | Napping and watching the sea on a forgotten island
Wake up at noon, ask clearly the return time of the boat back to Teknaf is at three o'clock in the afternoon from the pier, and then start walking around the island. It takes about 4 hours to walk around the island. St. Martin's Island is very narrow and long, with an area of only about 8 square kilometers. The north is a inverted triangle, there is a very narrow connection in the middle, and the south is a long irregular land. The southernmost cape is called Chera Dip, which is isolated from the main island when the tide rises and can only be passed when the tide recedes.
This only coral reef island in Bangladesh was originally discovered by Arab sailors. During the British rule, it was renamed St. Martin's Island. It also has a local name - 'Coconut Island', because the island is rich in coconuts, which are very cheap. When you are thirsty, just drink coconut! The beaches of St. Martin's Island hardly have any sand. After the tide recedes, it is a soft hard ground. The locals directly play football on the beach. When they are tired, they soak in the sea to cool down. It is really comfortable.
Walking to the northwest of the island, you will soon see the coral reefs that are endless after the tide recedes, densely covering the beach, becoming the hiding place for billions of small crabs. In the nearby small bay, fishing boats are full. Rows of coconut trees and mangroves on the coastline can effectively prevent waves and wind. The residents on the west side of the island are obviously much less than those near the pier on the east side, and tourists are basically invisible. The real charm of this forgotten island begins to emerge - an overseas island that is almost undisturbed by the outside world. Sitting on the root system of a mangrove to rest and blow the sea breeze, the huge and lush branches and leaves temporarily hide the scorching sun and pervasive heat wave. Because it is far away from the mainland, only 5 hours of electricity is supplied here every day. All kinds of electrical appliances in modern society are in a dispensable position here. Local people may prefer to take a nap in a hammock during the interval of fishing.
For travelers, if you are not in a hurry, or if you want to find a place to escape from the world one day, this is really a good place that has been forgotten.
The idyllic paradise of coconut trees and rice fields | Farming work on a small island
On St. Martin's Island, you can nap in a hammock, drink extremely cheap coconuts and watch the blue sea, forgotten by time and the world. Of course, you can also be more special, such as walking around the island. If you walk around the island, it is recommended to cross the island from the center in addition to walking around the island, where the rural scenery is also very beautiful.
After walking along the west coastline of the island, I accidentally broke into the barrier of coconut trees and mangroves, and found a vibrant rice field inside the island. The towering coconut trees are the boundaries of the rice fields, and some thatched farmhouses are scattered among them. The main economic source of the island is of course fishing, but there are also many people who plant rice in the gaps of fishing. However, in general, materials are very scarce, most of them can only rely on the mainland supply, it will become very dangerous to go out to sea in the monsoon season, and the life of the island residents will also become very difficult.
When walking through the small road in the middle of the island, I passed some local villagers' houses. Because it was the slaughter festival, I could occasionally see the festive scene of slaughtering cattle. Children with henna painted hands were holding beef and running happily in the fields. In addition to the lonely and beautiful sea view on St. Martin's Island, the life picture of the locals is also full of attraction for me, a foreign traveler.
