The antique building located in the city, what you see today is expanded and renovated in 1991, the most magical place here is not the building itself, but the pedestrian bridges built between the square and the office building. The suspension bridge full of round holes connects the 1st floor of the square and the 22nd floor of the opposite building. It's clearly on the 1st floor looking down, but there are 22 floors below. My brief three-day and three-night trip has come to an end, and the first word that comes to mind is delicious! This was my first time in Chongqing. I've been longing for that comfortable and satisfying Chongqing experience. (Going during the off-season is really no problem!) 📍On the first day📷, we went to check in at Guanyinqiao. I don't think it's necessary to search for specific camera positions; just navigate to Guanyinqiao and you'll find it's quite crowded and not hard to find, with countdowns happening every few minutes. Just be ready to snap your photos (look up poses in advance because time waits for no one). 🍜Then we had Xiao Xiao noodles! It's really cheap, seven yuan for a bowl of mixed noodles. Highly recommended (especially since it's right next to Guanyinqiao). 📍Checked in at the Totoro under Kui Xing Lou, we were actually going to rest at the hotel but stumbled upon it by accident. It's a great photo spot. This is Chongqing, where you can capture the essence. 📍Sanbutei Hotpot🍲 We queued for a long time for this one, also near Guanyinqiao, so we went back to Guanyinqiao to stroll around while waiting in the evening. Super delicious! And so affordable. On the second day, we ate at 📍Ping Ping 898 Restaurant, a local Chongqing 'fly restaurant' recommended by the locals, super tasty!!! We had to wait a long time to get in. 📍Banyan Line, a glass walkway with beautiful scenery, mainly because it's right next to the restaurant, we citywalked and the views were so beautiful. 📍Nanbin Road Riverside, also known as the sea of Chongqing people. On the third day, we went to the place I wanted to visit the most, 📍swimin coffee, which offers an unobstructed view where you can overlook half of Chongqing. So relaxing! I declare it the most chill coffee spot☕️. 📍Lao Shan Wa Hotpot, right next to swimin, is a residential building hotpot. We had hotpot for three hours. Bought a rabbit head and went to the airport. I'll come back during the off-season!!! I feel very comfortable in Chongqing; it's the city's inherent sense of relaxation.

Chongqing's Kui Xing Lou was first built during the Qing Dynasty's Yongzheng era, in the third year, when the culture of literature began to flourish in Jiangzhou, near the Confucian temple by Fuzi Pool. In 1953, Kui Xing Lou was demolished. It wasn't until the 1990s that a renovation project was initiated, and in May 2003, the Kui Xing Lou Square with its antique-style architecture was officially completed. In 2019, the movie 'Better Days' starring Jackson Yee was filmed at Kui Xing Lou, which brought fame to the building once again. Today, on the 11th floor of Kui Xing Lou, a new base for the experience of intangible cultural heritage has been created, offering you the chance to experience the wonderful depth of Chinese culture. Self-driving: Navigate to 'Kui Xing Lou Multi-level Parking Garage', where there is an elevator on the first floor that takes you directly to the top floor. This is, in my opinion, the most convenient option. After taking photos on the top floor, you can come down to check in and take more pictures. 2. Light rail: Exit D of Linjiangmen Station on Line 2, take a few steps up the stairs on your right hand side, and you will reach the flat plaza of Kui Xing Lou. 【Kui Xing Lou Photo Check-in】 1. Kui Xing Lou Square (the entire square has very distinctive ancient architecture) 2. Pedestrian bridge (the 'flat floor' on the 22nd floor is not for those who are afraid of heights) 3. Totoro Wall (take the elevator from the 22nd floor down to the 2nd floor) You can refer to our shooting positions to get the same locations as in the movie. Chongqing's unique geography and climate are favored by mystery drama directors. The '8D' terrain with its undulating and overlapping structures complements the camera movement design needed for shooting, and the humid and foggy weather matches the unique atmosphere required for mystery dramas. Out of 10 works in a certain platform's 'Mist Theater', 6 were filmed in Chongqing: 'Fatal Wish', 'The Silent Truth', 'Inescapable', 'Extraordinary Witness', 'Ten Day Game', 'The Daughter Who Came Back'. Following TV shows and movies to check in at Chongqing is a choice for many tourists. Kui Xing Lou from 'Better Days', Bai Xiang Residence from 'Hot Pot Heroes', Yangtze River Cableway from 'Crazy Stone', Dongshuimen Bridge from 'The Silent Truth'... Even if it's your first time here, you won't feel unfamiliar, but rather like a long-awaited reunion. Through the lens, TV shows and movies give us a glimpse of unfamiliar cities, let us feel the atmosphere of the city, and plant a seed called yearning. Hongya Cave is best photographed from the outside! Let me tell you about a few photo spots and the quickest routes to get there! 1️⃣ Qiansimen Bridge Position This spot offers an aerial view of the entire Hongya Cave, grand and impressive. From the top floor of Hongya Cave follow the small path to the left next to the traffic light and walk up to Qiansimen Bridge. It takes about 5 minutes to reach the bridge where you can capture the panoramic view of Hongya Cave! (At the top floor of Hongya Cave, some people will offer to guide you to the bridge for a photo for 10 yuan, but there's no shortcut; it's the same path, so don't be fooled) 2️⃣ Daijiaxiang Position This side view captures Hongya Cave + Qiansimen Bridge together, creating a more layered scene! Enter from the Daijiaxiang trail and walk to the corner to see it. (It's quick to get to Binjiang Road from the trail next to Daijiaxiang, no need to wait for the elevator at Hongya Cave, which could take at least 20 minutes) 3️⃣ Binjiang Road Looking Up at Hongya Cave After getting down to Binjiang Road and crossing the pedestrian bridge, you can take a full shot of Hongya Cave from the bus stop here. Don't get too close or you won't get the whole view! If you don't take the shortcut down from the Daijiaxiang trail, you can also take the Kuixing Building elevator. At Kuixing Building, Gaoxin Chuangfu Top Flow 22nd floor, take the elevator to the 1st floor, exit, turn right and walk straight to see Hongya Cave.

The distance between each scenic spot is only a few hundred meters, and you can reach them all by walking throughout the day (it is quite tiring, so those with poor physical strength should consider carefully). Day2: Liziba - Kuixing Tower - (Liangjiang Ferry) Ciqikou - Hongya Cave Ferry - Yangtze River Cableway - Riverside Park - Hotel PS: Experience the various modes of transportation of the mountain city people to your heart's content, including light rail, ferry, cableway, and stairs. Day3: Free activity, you can choose the attractions you are interested in. Such as: Eling Second Factory, Longhao Old Street, Zhazi Cave, Bai Mansion, etc. Accommodation recommendation: Near Daping Subway Station, which is relatively more cost-effective compared to Liberation Monument. Moreover, Daping Subway Station is a transfer point for Lines 1 and 2, making travel convenient.

It only takes 5 minutes to walk to Hongyadong from the first floor exit of the building, and it only takes 10 minutes to walk to Jiefangbei from the 13th floor exit. Foreign friends will definitely be dizzy by this charming 8D city😄 The landlord is very considerate, with one-on-one housekeeper service. They will come down to meet you when you check in, and there will be welcome fruits and drinks in the room. The view of their home is really great, you can directly see one bridge, two rivers and three banks. It's very comfortable to sit by the window and enjoy the river view while tasting tea. The city lights at night are even more charming😍 I highly recommend their home, it's really good. The new store here in Hongyadong, the old store in Jiefangbei before was a homestay with zero negative reviews👍
