Spicy and just right balance. Lamb is juicy. Other diners have a variety of cheeses, chicken and chickpea dishes and love it. It&#39;s a good place. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed a lot of delicious cider, available in barrels and bottles, we ordered a tasty potato corner, they also held a pork barbecue and I had a tasty pork sandwich for just $10. All day entertainment, solo singers and folk dances, awesome

Tony&#39;s Teppan Yaki Restaurant, the main focus is Japanese cuisine. I heard that many ingredients are still airlifted from Hokkaido. It is very good, that is, the price is more expensive. But in general, it is worth the money.

Great place wonderful place, the restaurant is very warm and very attractive. There are beautiful flowers outside and the inside is well decorated. The cold red chili soup is great. Roast duck liver is really a luxury and roast suckling pig is delicious. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was delicious, but our waiting process was long. We gave up dessert because we didn&#39;t want to wait. If you are with friends and willing to wait more, then this is good. The restaurant owner/manager is very friendly and will want you to introduce mouth-watering food. If you are not in a hurry, you must try it here.

If you like Indian food Ferry Indians is a must. I have been to 15 Indian restaurants in Christchurch and most of them more than once and Ferry Indians is in the top 2 and the best value by far. The service is very good and I have been here 5 times and it is really enjoyable each and every time. Now where do I start with the food... It is fresh and very well prepared. The chef / owner makes the best onion bhajis in the world and I mean the world. I have traveled a lot and these are the best!!! They are crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. These are a must when you come here. The rest of the menu is great, the food seems less heavy and less reliant on cream and food colouring. If you are a visitor to CHCH it is a short taxi ride out of the CBD but not far and is worth the effort and far better than any Indian restaurant in the city centre. If any doubt ask me.

Why would you dine in a shopping mall, with plastic chairs, dirty tables, noise and bulk prepared food? Give those Malls the flick and head out to Ferry Indians for lunch instead. It will be the best decision you make. Sit back in high backed soft chairs. Listen to ambient music instead. The mauve and silver interior is fantastic. Everything was clean and tidy. Entree of two samosa. Piping hot. Served on a white thin plate with fresh shredded cabbage, carrot and capsicum - was like a stained glass window. A little server of chutney finished the dish. The pastry was delicious - golden brown and crumbly. The filling was piping hot. 2 pieces. The main was chicken tikka masala made to your own spice level - you won&#39;t get that in a mall. It too came to the table piping hot.The spice level was spot on. Left a great after taste as well. The chicken was moist and not dry or rubbery. Served with a bowl of fluffy white rice. I was able to make three helpings. The meal also came with naan bread - lightly crisp where you want and bubbles of air. I finished off with a mango lassi. For under $20 this was a great meal. If I just had the chicken with rice and naan $10. So sit back in comfort, have the food bought to you by friendly wait staff. I dare you to be disappointed. Make yourself feel special over lunch.

We took our son (26, gluten, dairy and nut free!) for a curry. There was nothing on the menu he could have so the chef made him a delicious Punjabi chicken curry he could eat. The service was excellent, the plates were hot, the food was flavoursome and plentiful. And all for a very reasonable price,$18 average for a main dish.
