We had a great nice with friends here! Spent 50NZD including starter / main/ dessert for 2 people ! Very good option for a nice dinner out. Friendly staff and clean place ! The home made mango ice cream was the best we ever had! Congrats for the Chefs ! They might put a lot of love and passion on the food ! It was delicious !

We took our chance at this place as the menu here is very attractive and we are really happy just a short walk from our hotel. It is a small brewery with great hamburgers, excellent beer and delightful staff.

My friend and I were the only people there. We thought the menu was very limited, chose banana pancakes and bacon and Bandy eggs, bacon was delicious, but the pancakes tasted like a small bag mix. Two x pancakes, two x coffee.$46.00. Too expensive.

I last reviewed the Palace nearly two years ago. It&#39;s got a certain something that lifts it above the many other Indian restaurants in the city. Not many diners on an early Sunday evening, but a very steady stream of takeaway patrons. This time we ventured a chicken vindaloo and a lamb pensara, rice, raita, pickles and plain naan. The vindaloo was great, not at all toned down and the lamb was deliciously cooked. We BYOW here for a reasonable corkage.

Prefer Green Leaf in Greers Rd but got stuck in dreadful traffic so thought I&#39;d give these guys a second chance but was not impressed again. Tasteless expensive curries, not a great selection either. Ho hum staff. Won&#39;t go back unless dining with friends and I don&#39;t want to rock the boat.

We had a long day and wanted to have a quick meal. Monster chicken is located below our hotel. We didn&rsquo;t know what would happen. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. Would definitely recommend!
