Afghan Restaurant

Highly recommended for foods that look and taste alike. My friend had some very special dietary requirements and the chef went to great lengths to tailor a platter for us to suit our tastes without compromising the taste.

We wanted to go to a restaurant with healthy ingredients as we traveled with a child, it was a bit expensive and about the same price as Jumbo in Singapore. But the food was not very well done and the prawns were not very fresh.

Came here for a low key dinner on a weeknight. Place was quite, staff attentive and the vege 4 course special was amazing! Decent wine list too. Parking the only downside- had to park across Lincoln Rd on a side street. Will be returning to try other things on the menu :)

Didn&#39;t know what to expect, but have heard many good things about this place. went in was packed found seats. and then the onslaught of food descended upon us! its a set menu of shish kebabs (delicious and smoky) on a bed of fragrant rice, creamy chicken curry and a refreshing salad. and the portion sizes are huge and shared so go hungry! The atmosphere was good, lots of laughter and people generally having a good time. The restaurant does not have BYO (maybe due to religious customs) but there are cans of soft drink and cold water available. Overall a great place, amazing value for money and warm friendly hospitality.

This restaurant is definitely not your usual dining experience. We went in with a large group and were seated over 2 tables. We didn&#39;t order, food just started showing up on large platters to share. There was a spicy coleslaw salad, meat on rice and a curry with cherry juice to finish up. The meat on rice was amazing! It was grilled on sticks over flames in view of the dining area. Lovely and smokey tasting. The one guy seemed to be doing everything himself. Ended up paying $20pp, seems like haggling is acceptable here too. All of the group loved this place and the experience and want to go back.

Lovely, friendly restaurant, feels like you are dining in someone&#39;s house. No menu, just let the friendly staff know how many people are in your group, help yourself to drinks and enjoy. We have been here a few times and the price is always different. If you are concerned about this, ask for a price before hand- It&#39;s about $20 per person. Food just starts appearing on the table- Curry, lamb/chicken kebab, salad- whatever is being served that time. Huge portion sizes, and obviously a really popular place judging by the number of people dining. Not your average restaurant but definitely worth a visit.

Not your typical dining experience! There is no menu and you just need to tell them how many is in your group. You help yourself to the drinks fridge and the cabinet for your glass, but it all adds to the amazing experience! Food is top class (chicken kebab, lamb kebabs, tomatoes, rice and a side of chicken curry) Couldn&#39;t fault the food and love the character of the place! If you want a fancy restaurant or you are a fussy eater, this is not for you, but if you like trying new things and appreciate tasty food and lovely staff, then definitely worth a visit!!!
