Arguably Shanghai's most-famous tourist attraction, the Bund is a waterfront promenade and famous business district in central Shanghai. Historically, the Bund was the city’s main financial and trading center, and was located within the Shanghai International Settlement, an area under nominal British control between 1843 and 1941. The walking areas extend roughly 1.6 km along the west bank of the Huangpu River. Owing to its historic status and zoning restrictions, the Bund contains fantastic examples of classic Shanghai architecture. For this reason, it is a popular spot for photography, offering the best views across the river to Shanghai’s modern skyline in Lujiazui. No visit to Shanghai would be complete without a visit to the Bund.
The visit to Shanghai is not complete sans a visit to the bund area. srroll along the nanpfu river with tall buildings adorning the skyline make you marvel at the archtectural might if the chinese. they stand testimony ti the econimic developments that china has achieved in the recent years. you can take the evening river cruise to enjoy the beautiful landscape.
awesome place to visit. the people are so kind even for such a high traffic fast pace destination. i really enjoyed the time spent there and strongly recomend it as a must go travel spot.
Shanghai is a city full of amazingly beautiful buildings. The modern designs are breathtaking! But if you want class, elegance, history, and where it all began then you need to walk along the Bund and take in the classic turn of century buildings along the river. Not to be missed
They called it The Bund Shanghai. It’s located at wài tān 外滩 district area. I went there after having coffee at Starbucks Roastery which was super big coffeeshop where I can see the roasting process of the coffee bean. Then I walk around 58 minutes to 外滩 area to see the very famous place in the world. It was such a great experience to see the beauty of this metropolitan place in China. I can see the building accross the huáng pû jiāng 黄浦江 and also those building are so fabulous in night time.. wish I could get back here again sometime! Thanks to Trip for the recommendation place for me.

It is the main area of shanghai and the most beautiful one. You can go to the Bund by walking through the Nanjing Road. Bund walk is recommended. You can experience fresh air on the bridge. You can watch skyscrapper buildings across the river. You can also take the boat in the night and enjoy the lights..
