The Arrow River is straddled by no less than five bridges. To get the most out of it I'd recommend hiring a bike to do this trail just to cover a bit more ground but if you want to walk its just as beautiful. There are a few cafes, wineries and things to see along the way so make sure you allow a full day for it. You won't be disappointed - the scenery is just gorgeous!

Arrow River, the mother river of Arrow Town, gave birth to the formation of Arrow Town and recorded the rise and fall of Arrow Town. As gold prospectors found their first gold in the Arrow River Basin in the 1860s, Arrow River gradually became one of the world's most abundant gold-producing rivers. A large number of gold prospectors flocked to settle here, named after the river as the settlement, and Arrowtown was established, and it gradually prospered. The depletion of gold sand and the fading of the gold rush left the decayed Arrowtown and the severely damaged Arrow River. Until the rise of the tourism boom, the restoration of vegetation and the protection of the ecology are vigorously restored, and Jianhe has the fascinating scenery today, with gurgling water, crystal clear, dense trees and blooming flowers. When visiting Arrow Town, you must visit the Arrow River on the north side of the town. Walk along the river trail and stroll in the Civic Park. The picturesque scenery and beautiful scenery will bring you refreshing.
This is a small town to pass through before going to Queenstown. Arrowtown is not a big town but just a few streets, but every place is so exquisite. The bar street is very distinctive, and every household in the residential area has a garden that is different.
Close to a small river in Arrowtown, or it is more appropriate to call it a small stream. The two banks are lined with trees and the river is gurgling. Walking along the shore is quiet and tranquil. We went for the filming location of "The Lord of the Rings". By the way, unfortunately, after walking for a long time, I didn’t see any signs, so I wandered along the river.
It is not bad to have autumn yellow leaves as the background. The river is quite clean.
