The Avon Gorge National Nature Reserve is a stunning natural gorge, just outside Bristol. The best views are from the Clifton park and Brunel's suspension bridge.Lots of nice walks, and the drive along the A4 locally known as the Portway is stunning as well.Highly recommended.

The best place to view the Avon Canyon is this Clifton Suspension Bridge! It is located near Bristol, opened in 1864, across the Avon Gorge and the River Avon. Very magnificent, you can enjoy the majesty of the canyon~
Avon Gorge is a famous attraction in Bristol. The canyon is actually on the Avon River. The mountains on both sides of the river form a 2.5-kilometer-long canyon, which is one of Bristol's iconic scenery. From the suspension bridge and the Clifton Observatory, you can see the panoramic view of the Avon Canyon, which is very beautiful.
In this little-known little place, Clipton Down, there is such a magnificent Avon Gorge (Avon Gorge), I was surprised!
Bristol’s protective armor-Avon Canyon [Bungee Jumping Origin-Clifton Suspension Bridge] I often see a suspension bridge that volleys above the gorge in British film and television dramas. It is magnificent and amazing, but I don't know it is The famous Clifton Suspension Bridge. In addition to traffic, it has long become a landmark of Bristol and the earliest birthplace of bungee jumping. The viewing platform on the hillside is the best place to take pictures and check in. You can incorporate the entire suspension bridge into your lens! [Accommodation] Come to Avon Canyon to play, you can choose to live in Avon Canyon Hotel. The hotel is located on the edge of the canyon, regardless of its location, but it also has a three-star rating and a complete range of service facilities. Not only is it a few hundred meters away from the canyon suspension bridge, but you can also have a panoramic view of the canyon! [Transportation] If you choose to live in the Avon Canyon Hotel, you can take a bus or sightseeing bus to visit the nearby platforms. [Small suggestions] 1. Tourists can choose to come to Avon Canyon in early August, because it coincides with the local hot air balloon festival. It's perfect to watch the grand scene of a hot air balloon taking off in the Avon Canyon at night! 2. There is already a hint of coolness in the UK in August, so please pay attention to adding clothes. 3. The Clifton Suspension Bridge is best passed on foot. First, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery, and secondly, it’s not like driving by tolls.
