    Kind of far from Roswell but Nice

    Drove out there on a cold day. Found it to be a great wildlife refuge. Extensive drives and a variety of birds. Too cold to hike but nice stop.

    First trip to Bitter Lake. Worth a return trip.

    Went to view solar eclipse. Visitor's center was informative. Will return in December for Festival of the Cranes

    Great couple hours while in Roswell

    Nice place to walk trails and take a drive. Saw a fox, collared lizards and many dragon flies. Nice visitor center. Had a video that told how the CCC and Bitter Lake Refuge came to be - informative....

    An oasis in the desert

    You would no know that this place exists based on the surrounding desert. There is a nice drive laid out with stations for stopping and wildlife viewing. There are also hiking trails, but we did not...
