Brighton Museum & Art Gallery

Great museum with some modern exhibits and small Egyption section. Some human skeletons from the area are interesting . You can buy a ticket for the pavillion and museum online making it good value.

The Brighton Museum and Art Gallery is located in the converted stables of the Royal Palace and has a rich collection of 20th century artworks, including the crimson lip-shaped sofa by Savaldo Dali. There are also dedicated exhibition halls displaying artworks from around the world, most impressive being the Egyptian Objects Exhibition, while at the multimedia exhibition "Brighton Images" (Images of Brighton), you can access a range of oral history and a model of the West Pier that has ceased to exist.

Found it before visiting the Royal Palace, both in the same courtyard, the building looks very beautiful and echoes the Royal Palace. The whole courtyard is particularly beautiful. Visits to the Brighton Museum and Art Museum are free and the Royal Palace visit is charged. The works in the museum are more famous is Dali's red lip sofa, if you have enough time, you can come and see.
