We visited the castle in November 2019 with an english speaking guide ( a local man from Cartagena) who was very knowledgable and entertaining. Caslte is usually closed to the public since it's restor...
This castle is well worth taking the trouble to find, the size of the guns is breathtaking. I is almost a single track road with winding bends, but the views again are worth a visit.
Only organised trips once a month on sat & sun, must be booked via tourist office, 3€. Good views and walk up bit tiring. Web site not clear not generally open.v

Hard to find
