Great hidden history

A thousand years ago occupier by Native American people. After the Civil War the famous Buffalo Soldiers used that fort in clashes with the Indian people.

Very cool

This was a quick visit, maybe an hour or so. Interesting to see how it has changed since it closed. Walking tour with numbered stations and reading guide made it feel like you had a personal guide.
