We all know trolls love bridges. Apparently they like snatching Volkswagen Beetles and the unsuspecting drivers from Seattle’s Aurora Bridge, as well. That’s where you’ll find the Freemont Troll lurking. Since the 1930’s there have been rumors of trolls wreaking havoc on the locals of this Seattle neighborhood but it wasn’t until the 1990’s when just anyone could see one. That’s when a band of artistic misfits called the Jersey Devils erected this stone troll under the bridge. You can see him for yourself or attend one of many troll-centric events held by the Freemont Arts Counsil, like Troll-aween or Shakespeare at the troll.

Worth a visit and it’s right next to a really good brewery!
This is a fun quick spot to snap a pick. You can pass through here easily on bike since it is in between Fremont and Gasworks Park.
Awesome troll under the Bridge! My favorite part is the old BMW Bug he is crushing in his hand!
Such a random, but popular attraction. Literally a troll under a bridge holding a real VW Bug with a hubcap for an eye. Stop by, take some pictures, and show your friends.
