You absolutely cannot miss the art gem of this city - the Getty Center!
Architecture: The Getty Center is the location of the Getty Museum and other projects under the Getty Trust. This $1.3 billion museum, completed at the end of the 20th century, is now one of the landmarks of Los Angeles, attracting tourists and art lovers from all over the world. It is famous for its unique architecture, gardens, and views overlooking Los Angeles.
Collection: The J. Paul Getty Museum in the Getty Center has collected European paintings, sketches, sculptures, decorated manuscripts, decorative arts, and photographic works from its creation to the present. These treasures span the ages and bring together masterpieces from around the world. The most impressive gallery, in my opinion, is the Impressionist paintings. Van Gogh's Iris, Monet's (late) Water Lilies, Munch's Night Sky, Renoir's Girls, these well-known works of the Impressionist masters are open to the public for free. In addition to a few permanent exhibitions, there will also be rotating galleries updating new exhibitions from time to time. The most recent (end of 2023) exhibition is William Black's Visionary, a religiously colored exhibition.
Whether immersing in Renaissance paintings or appreciating the creativity of modern sculptures, the Getty Center provides art lovers with a breathtaking experience. This museum is not only a witness to history and culture, but also a cross-temporal art palace, presenting a colorful art journey for visitors.
Ticket price: Free admission. Need to make a reservation in advance. Parking fee is $20.

The Getty Center is not just a museum, but a viewing platform. Located on a hill in the suburbs, it has a very beautiful view overlooking the entire Los Angeles panoramic view. Up and down the mountain, all take the small train, the small train is about five minutes long, free. 🤭
It is a beautiful museum and garden with many precious arts. I enjoyed wonderful city view, garden and amazing art galleries.

The Getty Center, which was funded by oil tycoon Mr. Getty, displays many of Mr. Getty's own art collections. The center consists of multiple pavilions, and visitors need at least half a day to a day to visit.
I stayed in Los Angeles for a month, and I'm still very deep with the Getty Center Printer. Driving West from downtown Los Angeles to Santa Monica, I took a small train to a group of fantastic buildings standing on the hill. This is the famous Gatty Center in Los Angeles. It is a very modern art museum, an art research center and a beautiful garden. Here I saw Van Gogh, Raveld's sketches and the authentic works of many oil painters. I bought the small works of Van Gogh's Iris and had a very happy experience.
