The Hakodate Institute is located in the center of Goryokaku Park. A museum-like building in Wulingguo Park is charged separately. The adult ticket is 500 yen. The price is quite humane. Go in and take off your shoes, forget it, just look outside.
Located in the center of Wulinguo Castle, it used to be a place of practice in the box Hall of the shogunate Yamen. It got rid of the style of Tianshou Pavilion and had its own style of combining Western culture and Japanese culture, with strong uniqueness. The buildings we see now are rebuilt and restored a few years ago, but in terms of appearance and material, they are the same as the box halls in the historical photographs. At present, there is a charge of 500 yen to enter the library. Most of them are just some models of pictures and texts. There are more professional profiles on its official website.
