Huguo Temple

Huguo Temple, Chicheng County, Zhangjiakou City, is located in the east of Yunzhou Sheshenya, 15 kilometers north of the county seat. It is hidden in the mountains and the road up the mountain is steep. According to the existing Ming and Qing monuments, the construction period has not been recorded. The current building is rebuilt on the site, with ancient text stone carvings on the nearby cliff wall.

Chicheng Huguo Temple is located in Yunzhou Township, Chicheng County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province (15 kilometers north of Chicheng County, Yunzhou Reservoir, Sheshenya Dongguan). It was built in the first half of the Ming Dynasty, that is: Xuande to Chenghua. According to the inscription, it can only be traced to Jiajing Yuchen (1532). It was Huguo Temple that was accidentally found on the way to Wuyuan. We are the only tourists. We feel very good and peaceful. When we went up, we turned into a very narrow dirt road from S241. Fortunately, there was no car on the opposite side. Otherwise, it was difficult to get the wrong car. In the past two years, we have been developing tourism projects. I don't know how the road conditions are. Each has its advantages and disadvantages. Self-driving information: Beijing-Tibet_Jingli Expressway _S241, turn right at the fork when you arrive at Yunzhou Reservoir (see the red line marked by the last icon), and continue to drive 2.3 kilometers to Akagi Huguo Temple. Baidu map directly search for "Chicheng Huguo Temple". Bus information; you can take the bus sent by Chicheng to the scenic spots around Yunzhou Reservoir. It is estimated that you will need to walk a few kilometers. Supplement: There is a canteen in the Yunzhou Reservoir Management Office.
