Located on the first floor of the JR Kyushu Daiichi Government Building (former Mitsui & Co., Ltd. Moji Branch), as the name of Raibukan, I was able to see the present of the Strait through the cameras installed in various parts of the Kanmon Strait.
As the name suggests, the Kanmon Strait is seen live.

It was raining, so I went to the facility somewhere inside, which is the live hall. It was raining, so I decided to watch the raining video all the time. There is also an exhibition of color 々, and you can explain it.
I went on New Year's Day. I don't like the crowd, so when I stopped by, it was vacant. The first to second floors, which express the history of the Kanmon Strait in drama tailoring and doll objects, were easy to understand by videos, from the Heike to the Meiji era, the history of the Strait. I enjoyed it even without being informed of the history of modern Japan. It seems that the renovation work will be carried out until about March and will be reopened. I'm looking forward to it again.
You can see the video of the 24-hour change of the Kanmon Strait for 10 minutes. Of course, you can also see live video. You can also see the seabed near Japan in three-dimensional terms with 3 D glasses. The people in charge are polite.
2011 Year 4 This facility is operated by the Western Marine Accident Prevention Association, which opened in the former Mitsui Bussan Moji Branch Building in Mojiko Retro in 80 Year. You can see images of the Kanmon Strait and exhibitions of marine accident prevention. It's free near Mojiko Station, so it's interesting to stop by to improve your knowledge of the Kanmon Strait.
