Lakeside Historical Society

It's an interesting and educational museum that is a great introduction to Oregon's rich history. There are shows on the Oregon Trail, the history and diversity of indigenous peoples. I happened to be at a tour exhibition at John F. Kennedy when I was there (August 2017). Well worth a visit

Informative and if ever you’ve visited anything alike to this establishment just sit tight and be prepared to listen because almost every historical society is a plumage of platforms simply waiting for someone to latch right onto them and take it away. Furthermore the reality surrounding all the historical points of interest occurring within the city limits of lakeside since its infancy are astounding! Such rich history easily overlooked likely on a daily basis by most travelers believing this venture to be possibly a low-ball experience however it fits dutifully and with much intrigue rather as a place of modest upward motion. Surrounding the town of Lakeside you’ll find a plethora of other neat places most people overlook including how Lakeside’s smack dab the Center of damns and damns galore. Don’t believe me? Well the designed abstract of waterworks (mainly helix) never ceases to amaze even the residence here as you’ll come to find much comfort in the niceness and easily approachable folks during times in which you’ll probably meet some very interesting and knowledgeable individuals once you leave your own comfort zone and begin to accept lakeside and it’s surrounding structural instalments as most places with visiting hours are nothing new to locals and utilising many nature walk paths, dam sites, lakes and such will surely support every part of the above mentioned facets. The historical society hosts the annual Miss Lakeside pageant as well and on a separate note it becomes pretty clear walking through the old church there that much pride through devotion is poured into that event as well as many other special occasions the society holds dear after many many years of past times and involvements.
