The marsh in the mountains, which is located further from Bihoro to Okhotsk, is Matsuyama Marsh. It is located at a high altitude and you can meet cool alpine plants. You need to walk in the mountains from the parking lot.
Visited by rental car. It is close to the site of Niufu Station on the Miyuki Line, which was partially opened, and the current Trolley Kingdom Niufu Station, a high-rise marsh that once made a name for itself to take the Miyuki Line, which was the largest deficit line in Japan, to the unexplored Matsuyama Marsh.
