Great potential
Today I had a good wander in the area, especially around Darlingsford Lake. I saw the Dryland Garden being built to the South and did some good walking on the well made concrete paths.
Mainly natives (but not all).Excellent layout with paths meandering through varying botanics. Seats and identifications are scattered along the way. The lake supports basic birdlife and has free BBQs ...

This really is not a botanical gardens. It way out of town, nothing interesting; really a waste of petrol. Pity really, Melton, with some vision could be the star of the west. Not even worth a p...

Really educational for all children. There are signs advising what the name of the tree and bushes are.
