The oval square is a famous building in the ancient ruins of Jerash in Jordan, located at the beginning of the colonnade, built in the first century AD. The square is an asymmetrical open space covered with stones, 90 meters long and 80 meters wide, for major gatherings, two rows of nearly 10 meters high Roman columns on both sides, making it more magnificent, from all angles, have expanded the space of the field of vision. There is a remnant column in the center of the square, which may be the remains of what sign.
The oval square is located in the center of the entire ancient city of Gerash Rome, which was once the place of the great celebration of the ancient city of Rome. From the base of the Sun Temple, you can also overlook the entire oval square, which is the best place to take pictures.
The oval central square is the core area of Gerash, paved by concentric circles of slabs surrounded by huge pillars, during the Roman period, it was the site of large gatherings and important celebrations, and it is also the most representative of Gerash's image. Therefore, every tourist must take pictures, and these huge stone pillars are cracked, and the dislocation is very powerful, but still standing for more than 2000 years, it is simply a miracle, really worried, maybe a small earthquake, no longer exist. Sitting on a high place, watching the embers of the sun shine on this ancient Roman city, the stone has orange, gradually turned red, in the distance gradually appear blue and black sky is very dazzling, later sunset, and seems to be like Pompeii, oblivious in the dark night. See the world as you go
Standing high and looking at this oval square is really spectacular. This is the best-preserved column square I have seen so far. Although some were rebuilt in the 7th century, these Ionian pillars are still perfectly circled, making the ancient city of Jerash at the beginning of the atmosphere.
The Oval Plaza, also known as the Oval Plaza, was built around the Tulajan era in 110 AD. It is the central building of the ancient city of Gerash, magnificent and spectacular, with access to the south, north, west gate, or to the Temple of Zeus at the highest point of the ancient city. The 64 Ionik pillars around the square are still as neat as strings, surrounded by side porches for people to walk. The square originally had two altars and a fountain, but now it is hard to find. The stone pillars in the center of the square are erected by modern people to set off fireworks for the annual music festival. Sometimes locals play musical instruments, improvise and ask for a tip.
