Part of history

On a recent route 66 road trip, we made it a point to go see the Pony Bridge. It is a standing monument to the history of highways and bridges.

A Must See on Route 66

Just a few miles north of the interstate and easy to find. This 1938 bridge is nearly a mile long and looks to be in good shape.

Interesting bridge

I wanted to see this bridge after seeing it on Smithsonian’s Aerial America. It was very interesting. It was easy to find and took less than an hour to visit it from I-40.
