It is the only vest door that exists in Murcia province, and the only one that survives the medieval wall of Lorca.

The medieval wall around Lorca has disappeared mostly, with the entrance door and a painting of St. Antonio is one of the few traces left.
Rest of Lorca's medieval history
The mural of Lorca has been restored in recent years. And the portal of San Antonio, a tower, with a tailed door, is the only one standing in the city.

This 14th century door is well preserved and restored, and is aware of the need to be protected in the medieval era.
