Lots of hands on activities!

Definitely make your way to the Powell House. Its waaay at the end of Duke of Gloucester Street behind the Capitol Building. The hands on activities make it worth while. Lovely garden as well.

History showing itself

The docents were dressed according to the times and gave easy to understand explanations of the work and people of the 18th century.

Small but great place to visit

We struck lucky on Christmas Day ... there were several of the re-enactors on site..... we got a great insight into family life in the 1770s. Magnificent house.
