Rector's Palace

The Governor's Palace, as the Dub's consul, has a fairly long history of being ruthlessly destroyed by major earthquakes and fighting. Today, the Governor's Palace has been part of the Dub's Natural History Museum, showing the various historical archives, weapons, consul furniture, etc. since the medieval Dub became a free city state, and it is also a must-have point for understanding Dub's history and culture.

The building was described as the "most beautiful building in Dalmatia" when it was first built in 1464, and there are many master paintings stored here, which is the cultural history section of the Dubrovnik Museum. People who like art and history can consider buying tickets to visit. Although it can't be compared with many European countries' palaces, but as a governor's residence more than 600 years ago, the furnishings inside are also very luxurious, each room is treasured with many famous paintings, but unfortunately we don't know this very well!
