Beautiful lighthouse next to a highway
The lighthouse was relocated right next to a highway but it’s still quite beautiful. A sign said tours of the lighthouse are open Friday and Saturday.
It is no longer on Round Island
Pascagoula's main attraction is now located,om Hwy 90, immediately east of the Highway 90 bridge. Amazing the light a 80m watt light blb will produce.
Saved Lighthouse
We drove slowly past this piece of maritime history. It was taken down and reassembled in a nice park. I wish they had parking so we could have seen it closer.
