We lost this ;library however the best of the top 10 library's in the world was built to replace it! And wait till you see it! Across from the Memorial Library on Spring Garden Road and is truly spect...
This is no longer a Library!
This really should be taken out of TripAdvisor as an attraction, because it is no longer in use as a library which has moved across the street to a beautiful new building.
Library is closed
Property is run down and rats roam all over at dusk, dirty disgusting they need to take the building down, or better transform it into something useful for the community.
Love the Building
it is a shame that it has close and is unoccupied right now this is a great building and situated right in the centre of the City. Very nice grounds and statues.

While in Halifax it was recommended that we visit this building. I wouldn't add an hour to my trip to drive out of my way to see it but it was worth seeing while in Halifax. If I lived there I would s...
