    Family Home

    My father-in-law was born in the monastery, which was owned by the Schanche Family for many years along with the adjacent farm.

    Worth a visit

    Beautiful setting very serene . Sadly went on a Monday in March and Monastery was closed . But still worth a visit.

    This is not a trip for the kids. This is walking around an old monastery which has had a lot of loving care given to it. We had a 30 minute piano recital which was amazing and I am not a big music fan...
