Walking from Navona Square to the Pantheon, you will pass through this beautiful church. There are three paintings by Saint Matthew of Caravaggio. This is the French Church in Rome. The building was built in 1520. The lamplight can't be turned on without putting 1 euro into a machine. There are concerts on weekdays.

It's a real gem. You can get off the bus and walk for a minute to the roadside museum.
Beautiful villa on the Appia Antica. Felt like I was back in time.
The Villa Dei Quintili is an excellent walking historical to visit the outskirts of Rome. It was a member of the Quintili brothers, consuls in 151 d.C. Later it went expanding with the Empire.It is located between the old Appia and the new Appia. It can be reached on the local bus number 118. A very well-conserved site that in turn has a museum.
