Xumishan Grottoes

The Sumishan Grottoes are the pearls on the Silk Road and are a national tourist attraction at the 4A level. Ningxia Guyuan City is 50 kilometers west of departure. The Sumishan Grottoes Group is very large. It is divided into 8 scenic spots such as the Big Buddha Building, the Children's Palace, Yuanguang Temple, Xiangguo Temple, Taohua Cave, Pine Tree Wave, Three Kilns and Heishigou. It is scattered on the cliff face of eight peaks. It is difficult to finish all the first time to visit.

Just returned from the visit, very shocking. The scenic spot is relatively large. It is recommended to visit the essence route. First visit No. 5 and No. 1 and Tang Dynasty Shuimenguan. After going straight to Yuanguang Temple to visit No. 45-46-47 Kiln, turn to Xiangguo Temple to see the Sumizhiguang several big Buddhas. After watching Xiangguo Temple, you can see the embankment trees and 61 caves behind the trees for nearly a thousand years. Basically, it is a boutique of the Sumishan Grottoes. If you have time, you can go to the mountain climbing route of the Sanqing Palace of the Children's Palace! The 5th Sumi Buddha has been officially opened on National Day after the maintenance. Personally feel that the Sumishan Grottoes are no less than the four famous kilns, and the gap is in the visibility and scenic spot maintenance and management. The treasure scenic spot hidden deep in the famous city of Bianguan is worth your visit.

The Sumishan Grottoes are small in scale and some small caves are seriously damaged. But walking on the mountain is very interesting. Several stone ladders are steep and dangerous, and they have to climb up with chain ropes. When I went there was the end of March, the wild peach blossoms were in full bloom. In April, the world was full of Fangfei, and the peach blossoms of the mountain temple were in full bloom.

It is worth seeing, but it is a bit regretful, I didn't go to the temple to see the light of Sumi, and I will go there again in spring.

Very good attractions, 4A The weight is very large, the traffic is slightly biased, the heat is not enough, but it is worthwhile. Many Buddha statues are in the Sui and Tang periods, and they are well preserved, better than the Longmen Grottoes. Arranged explanations, it is much more convenient to understand many content stories. The price is really good value for money.
