Yubeng Village: A secluded and unknown place in an alphine valley mere kms from the Tibetan border. It was never discovered and not accesible by road. You can either trek in on your own or ride a mule to go to the village.
Everyone may have heard of tiger leaping gorge or Jade Dragon Snow Mountain but not many people have heard of this small village - A village that is situated 3000m above sea level.
Day 1: Yubeng Village 13-16km
Day 2: Sacred waterfall 14-18km
DAY 3: Glacier lake trek 18km
Glacier lake formed by snow water from Meili Snow Mountain and the main water resource of Yubeng Village. Absolutely intimidated by the snowmelt point and the narrow path along the way and the trek itself was no easy feat mainly due to the uninvited visitor AMS at 3.6ft.
As we ascend and descend so quickly for the first 3-4km, the AMS symtoms started showing when i was at 3.6 and above. But i conquered the entire trail and managed to reach to the top (3.8ft above sea level).
The rain-breaking village in my eyes is a ray of sunshine after the rain. It is a refreshing breeze. This is located in the village of Yunling Township, Yudeqin County, Shandong Province, and it is only 30 households. Because of the surrounded mountains and unique landforms, the village with an altitude of 3,000 meters has become a paradise. So, I came and saw such a peerless place.
Some people say that the rain collapse is a paradise, because the beauty of the scenery here is simple, pure and perfect. It is a terrible environment that is hard to see on earth. Therefore, some people say that the rain collapse is a paradise in the eyes of human beings.
There are many people who think that this is hell, because the rain falls need to walk on the mountain road in the plateau for a whole day to arrive, and there will be many unexpected accidents in the middle.
The journey to Shangbing Lake is very difficult. There are two roads to go. They are Shizi Road and the regular dirt road + snow road. We happened to meet a foreign friend who went down to the ice lake. After a few words of communication, I learned about the ice lake. It is convenient to take the conventional dirt road + snow road. The ice lake is directly from Shizi Road. It is verified that this is true. If the dirt road + snow road is very dangerous, especially in the snow road, it is extremely difficult. On the last road to the glacial lake, the snow depth is probably high at the knees. Basically, the calves are completely invisible, and the slope of the uphill slope is still very steep. There are very dangerous trees and cliffs on both sides. When going up the mountain, try to The foot should be stepped on the previous footprint, so as to ensure that it will not be stepped on as much as possible. This part of the journey is not fault-tolerant, so be careful.
When you turn over the gully to see the icy lake and Kawagebo, the fear of awe is born, the oncoming wind is like the moment you can swallow me up, the closer to the ice lake, the snow The deeper, the deepest place can actually get to my thigh, there is a downhill road that slides down completely, because the speed of walking on the feet is too slow, of course, pay attention to safety when sliding, do not hit Put on any hard things and avoid getting hurt. When I came to the icy lake and looked up at Kawagebo, all the language, all the emotions, all the pains, became so small, even my own, in front of her is so worthless, so I chose to close my eyes, put my hands together, pray for the people I love and those who love me, and send my most sincere blessings, all the unhappy, all the troubles, all the knots are like floods. All of them have been released. I only know at this moment. This should be reborn for me. Listening to the wind whistling in my ear, I only have to pray.
Yubeng Village, a Tibetan village at the foot of the Goddess Peak of the Meri Snow Mountain, is divided into two villages that are close to each other. Yubeng Village is situated deep in the mountains, away from the markets and towns. There is little transport but the folk customs are simple and honest. Therefore, it is known as the epitome of true Shangri-La. The waterfall on the hill next to Yubeng Village has always been a holy place of pilgrimage for Tibetan Buddhists, and it is also a must to pass through the Meri Snow Mountain.
