There's ice cream made from sake.

About 10 minutes walk from Shiraishi station. Free admission. The building facing the road is an exhibition hall, and tools related to sake brewing and commentary panels are exhibited, but the number is small. We also sell it retail, and some can be tasted. There are also limited liquor that can only be purchased here. For those who drive, please have ice cream (300 yen) where you can feel the flavor of sake bream.
"Zao" is a brand that is not very familiar in the Kanto region, but it is the only sake brewery in Shiraishi City, so I stopped by after visiting the samurai residence. Since it is an exhibition hall, I thought it was a larger museum, but the corner of the shop was just displaying sake ware and sake brewing tools. I wanted to taste it, but there was no staff, and no one came out even if I waited for a while, so I didn't have time to relax, so I went out as it was.
There is a free exhibition space related to sake brewing, and we also sampled it. The people who served the customer were also young and nice. The liqueur using herbs was delicious and I took it home!
It is about 5 minutes walk from JR Shiraishi Station. Although it is Tohoku where sake is, the brand of "Zao" is especially famous, so I visited it. In addition to exhibiting sake breweries and sake brewing tools, you can also sample them, sell them and ship them to rural areas. A tour of the sake brewery requires advance reservations at the end of December ~ February, but you can enjoy it just by tasting it to visit the museum.
(Zao Sake Brewery Exhibition Hall) You can buy sake and other products.
