LocationAround 10 miles from Las Vegas strip. This place is in middle of nowhere really, surrounded by the desert to miles, it’s huge and when you are about to get closer to this place the colorful magic begins to appear in form of these magical mountain. Good place to be click pictures.Huge stone blocks piled up on each other in a rally symmetrical manner painted in vibrant and bright colors to attract people towards them.Make sure you have water and something to munch with u if you would like to spend more time in this place specially carry water as it’s a bit of a walk from the parking area.There is no shop or any refreshment area around, it’s a fun place to click pictures and admire the beauty of this place for a while.Hope this will be helpful for you.
It’s a quick pit stop right off the freeway on the 15 freeway. You can stop by on your way to Vegas or back. It’s free and pretty cool. It won’t be there forever, so make sure to stop by when you can.
We have seen this art installation twice! And we all love going to see it. It's a nice way to get out of the city.
Worth the visit if you want to take a detour to or from Vegas. This is actually a state park or sorts and great for a photo op with family, friends and loved ones. You can actually see the rock mountains also along the 15 during the daylight.
