It is really too bad that the town council is going to demolish this historic structure.it is on the National Registry for Historic Places and is listed as a contributing structure.
We spent a few minutes in this park while waiting for the Verde River Train tour. It was a hot day but the gentle breeze blowing through the shade trees brought much relief. Worth a stop.

We love the Clarkdale Town Park. From the evening concerts in the park to the first responder pancake breakfasts, this is definitely Mayberry RFD.
An Amazing place.
All I can say is this is a remarkable place and am glad I moved here. The park is great with various types of entertainment and a whole lotta fun.
