Amazing views worth the short “side drive”
Took the kids to the canyon for a bit of a staycation visit. While the Desert View/East Gate is closed for COVID right now, the drive out east from the Village and Visitor’s Center is still worth it....

With a name of Grandview it does come with some expectation. It lives up to those expectations. Overall this just was a great point to get some of the grandest views of the canyon.

Fantastic views. You can sit and watch the Canyon for hours and as you walk from one side to the other at the view point the colours keep changing, a must!

Along East Rim Drive. Beautiful observation point and well worth making the drive out here for a different view of the Canyon. Make sure to drive on to Moran Point which is even better
