Used to live on Amager, and I miss Gambero Rosso as my great, local treat. Always great atmosphere with charming owners, cooks and waiters speaking italian to each other from one corner of the restaurant to the other. I&#39;m not really sure who is actually what. It can feel a bit chaotic, but the food is always spot on. The interior is more original than stylish, but got to love the fake brick details! I always leave with a smile after a great espresso and a handshake. It is worth the bikeride from down town Copenhagen.

Gambero Rosso

We discovered this little gem on our first morning in Copenhagen. The interior is quite retro and quirky but with a homely, authentic feel. The wonderful food and nice welcome set us up perfectly for a day exploring the city. The breakfast menu is excellent with lots to choose from. I went for the brunch and my companion the vegetarian brunch. It was delicious, with a great mix of tasty items filling our plates... see photo! Good value for money too (140 KR per person) for the amount and quality of food. We enjoyed all this whilst sat enjoying the morning sunshine in the courtyard out back... could not have asked for more! All in all, this place comes highly recommended. Go there and enjoy!

The restaurant is an open kitchen with a machine for making pasta. I want to say that the range hood is not strong, and the taste of cooking is a bit heavy. There are many pasta options in the store every day, 6-10 Euro/ serving, the price is really affordable. I ordered a meat sausage ketchup pasta, the sausage was fresh and tender, the ketchup tasted a little light, and the texture of the pasta was quite a plus. Unfortunately, I ate a small piece of wire in the pasta, which was bad. The store was very surprised that this happened. When the checkout, the pasta only received half the price.

We dined at Gambero Rosso as it was close to our apartment. Enjoyed a pleasant dinner of meat tapas and a piazza. Unlike the centre of Copenhagen - reasonable prices. Noticed it was packed on the Saturday evening so may be worth booking.

I have not eaten yet, but until now the service can&#39;t be worse. Rudeness, endless waiting time, bad answers to our questions. We&#39;ll never come back.
