Five of us ate a superlative meal here for a little over 100GBP, including drinks. We didn't order off the menu but rather asked Ranee to just send us enough grub. We received a sort of tuna carpaccio wrapped in cucumber, fermented (if I understood correctly) beef meatballs, tempura crab, sticky rice with minced pork in an escabeche dressing, all accompanied by various salads and garnishes. The flavours were a revelation. The venue is small and informal, and patronised by locals including some young mothers who were very relaxed about leaving their infants on the street outside. I would unreservedly recommend this restaurant but must qualify my review by saying we were with an old friend of Ranee's so this may have influenced the choice of dishes. Nevertheless, it was excellent food.
